Mobile Phone Access
The government of Japan take serious action in order to protect young users from potentially dangerous content that lurks in web forums, chat rooms, and social networking services as well as online dating services. That is why the government responds to all the mobile Internet service carrier companies to filter all mobile phone for underage users.






File sharing  
A meeting held by authorities and organizations pushed for a ban on the download of copyrighted content for personal use; a category of file transfer previously permitted under Article 30 of Japan's Copyright Law. An investigation has found out that the Internet pirates of Japan use anonymous file sharing networks such as Perfect Dark, Share and Winny to cover their crime. The criminal penalties for downloading material hold a maximum penalty for two years in prison and a ¥2,000,000 fine.




Child internet restrictions
To promote a safe Internet environment, the Japanese Internal Affairs and Communication Ministry has invented a public program to cope with information that is harmful to children and intrudes on individual privacy. The new law that has restricted any website that is inappropriate to children as well as blocking access to Web sites featuring child pornography to be filtered.





Content Removal
It focused on hate speech and obscene content that includes child pornography, ‘revenge porn’ and explicit images that have been shared without consent.
